Anchored Bookkeeping, LLC runs this website. In this policy, "I" and "me" refer to Anchored Bookkeeping, LLC.

What I Collect

Information you give me. When you fill out the contact form or book a call, you provide your name, company name, email address, phone number, and whatever you choose to write in your message.

Information collected automatically. Squarespace, which hosts this website, uses cookies and similar tools to collect basic technical information such as your browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the site that referred you. This helps me understand how the site is used. The contact form also uses Google reCAPTCHA to block spam, which collects information about your device and how you interact with the page.

How I Use It

To respond to your inquiry, schedule and hold calls, provide services if you become a client, and improve this website. I do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who Else Handles It

A few service providers process information on my behalf: Squarespace (website hosting, forms, and site analytics), Microsoft (email, and Outlook Bookings for scheduling calls), and Google (reCAPTCHA spam protection). Each handles data under its own privacy policy. I may also disclose information if required by law.

Please Don't Send Sensitive Financial Information

Please don't send account numbers, Social Security numbers, tax documents, or other sensitive financial information through this website or by regular email. If you become a client, I'll set up a secure way to share documents.

Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work without them.

How Long I Keep It

Inquiries that don't turn into an engagement are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond and follow up. Client records are kept according to the terms of the signed engagement letter.

Your Choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you've sent through this site by emailing information@anchoredbookkeeping.co.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.

Anchored Bookkeeping, LLC is a bookkeeping and advisory firm, not a licensed CPA firm, and does not perform audits, reviews, compilations, or attest services. I do not prepare income tax returns.
